报告人简介：
Dr. Robb Brumfield graduated from Louisiana State University with major in Zoology in 1990, and achieved his M.S. at Illinois State University in 1993. He then obtained his Ph.D. degree in Zoology from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1999. Since 2003, he was appointed as Roy Paul Daniels Professor in the Dept. of Biological Sciences at LSU and Curator of Genetic Resources in the Museum of Natural Science at LSU. In addition, he is a director in the Museum of Natural Science at LSU since 2013.
Dr. Robb Brumfield has received several honors and awards for his research including Fellow of American Ornithologists’ Union, Elective Member of American Ornithologists’ Union, a Graduate Teaching Award of Tiger Athletic Foundation and so on. He became an editorial board member in Gene (2010-2013), associate editor in Evolution (2013-2016) and associate editor in Systematic Biology (2009-2017). He is recently appointed as SSB Council-Elect in Society of Systematic Biology.
